What to look forward to on your working holiday
Australia’s Northern Territory (NT) is a backpacker’s paradise and the perfect place for a working holiday.
You will find strong demand for skilled and unskilled workers and job opportunities unlike those anywhere else.
A working holiday in the NT gives you the opportunity to experience a lifestyle that's very different from the rest of Australia and the world. You could try:
- mustering or domestic duties on a cattle station
- teaching or nursing in a remote Aboriginal community or small outback town
- picking mangoes or melons
- bartending in a regional roadhouse.
If you love your experience in the NT, the NT’s status as a regional destination makes it easier to apply for a second Working Holiday visa to stay for another 12 months.
