The Northern Territory business community turned out in force for the Workforce Adaptability and Talent Retention Expo held in Darwin recently as part of October Business Month.
This half-day program brought together government, industry and training providers with one clear brief: help Northern Territory businesses address workforce gaps.
Territory WorkerConnect – the Northern Territory Government’s digital jobs board was on show – demonstrating to local businesses how easy it is to post jobs for free, search a growing talent pool, set alerts when matching CVs are uploaded, and connect with candidates who want to work and live in the Northern Territory.
1 Million Job Searches reached!
There are around 900 Northern Territory businesses signed up to WorkerConnect, 16,000 jobseekers, and almost 10,000 CVs have been uploaded.
At the end of September 2025, WorkerConnect reached an important milestone - more than 1 million job searches have now been made on the platform.
This achievement is a clear sign that our efforts to promote the Northern Territory as a premier destination to work and live are resonating with audiences across Australia and beyond.
