Top End

Daly, Tiwi Islands, West Arnhem including Jabiru

The northern most section of the Territory is known as the Top End. The region encompasses 112,295 km² from Wadeye in the west to Maningrida in the east, including West Daly, West Arnhem, and the Tiwi Islands.

In this vast and diverse region, 74% of residents identify as Aboriginal, and most of the land across the region is classified as Aboriginal land. Traditional Aboriginal landowners play a critical role in the development of the region and its industries, infrastructure, and services.
